Description

Looking for a great way to spend your pre-Valentine's weekend? How about something a little different to do with that special someone? Then come on out to the 6^th annual "Chains of Love" 5k, 10k, 15k and ½ mile kids fun run/walk hosted by the Cal Poly Triathlon Team. This race has something for everyone! Grab a friend to run with and finish holding hands, or race alone and set a personal record. The choice is yours!

All courses tour the gentle rolling hills of the beautiful Cal Poly campus. With participants from both the school and the community, this race promises high-energy fun while benefiting a hard-working, dedicated Cal Poly club sports team!

Be sure to be on the lookout for our very own Cal Poly cupids as they travel the course with you!

Awards

Age-group prizes will be awarded to top finishers, and everyone will receive a commemorative tee shirt as well as a race bag stuffed with fun goodies.

Directions

Campus (from US 101N)

Take the Cal Poly Exit
Turn left onto Grand Ave. and follow it up the hill onto campus

Campus (from US 101S)

Take the Cal Poly Exit
Turn Right (Buena Vista) and immediately turn Left onto Loomis
Turn Right onto Grand Ave. and follow it up the hill onto campus

Parking and Race Start

Once on the Cal Poly Campus
Turn Left into the 3^rd driveway after the light (Immediately before the Performing Arts Center
Park in the Parking Structure
Exit the Parking Structure towards the tennis courts
Walk down the path to the right of the tennis courts
Turn Right at the "T"
Turn Left and walk down the stairs
The Race Start will be on your Right
